The sites work exactly the same, each makes a yearly charge to belong to the site and in return we ensure that all the members are given equally exposure on the site. To do this we use either your existing website linked within the framework of the ButtermereWeb or if you don't have a web site we will provide you with one as part of the package. In this way all the members get equal priority and those with no website will get one.

Over two thousand visitors every day

All members have the facility to have an updateable page on the website which acts as a gateway to their own sites and on this we are able to put current packages, last minute availability, specials, events or any other information that you may wish to get live quickly. We aim to put all amendments and info live within 24 hours of receiving it via email, phone or fax, but in reality it normally takes much less time.

The site runs on a magazine style format, concentrating on those people who regularly visit and use the area, giving them one easy place of reference rather than trawling through endless individual pages. The WasdaleWeb ltd is a local firm run by Guy Newbold who has lived and climbed extensively throughout the Lakes and based in Gosforth is a member of the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team. This ensures that there is always a steady point of contact for any questions or queries and guarantees a steady amount of passion for the area which is reflected in the website.
